Temple Sholom Social Action Committee
Fostering and enriching Jewish living throughout Greater New Milford -- through empathy,
wisdom, integrity, and partnership.
Our longest serving rabbi, Norman Koch, taught and exemplified the awareness of the "finger of
God" at every turning point in our lives. However that finger touches us, we know all too well
that it remains an ineffective notion unless our own fingers touch others with kindness and on
behalf of a juster world. Therefore, we work to expand our circle of caring from our own
membership to the communities among whom we live. And most impactfully, we choose do so
with like-minded partners here in New Milford and beyond.
